ROCKWALL — According to a report by WSBTV’s Scott MacFarlane, an incident that occured at LAX between the Transportation Security Administration and U.S. Representative (R-TX) Ralph Hall’s teenage grand niece has sparked a Federal investigation. MacFarlane reports that the incident, which occured two years ago as the young woman was traveling from Texas to Australia, also has Hall calling for the TSA agent involved to be fired.
MacFarlane received documents about the event from TSA via an open records request. According WSBTV, the documents say the teenager was pulled aside by TSA for a screening.
“TSA documents said ‘during the pat-down of her stomach area” her sundress slipped revealing her breasts in public,” MacFarlane writes.
TSA investigated the incident, which was caught on CCTV, and determined that it was an accident.
The Herald-Banner has requested a comment from Hall’s Washington D.C. office and is waiting on confirmation of the facts reported by MacFarlane.
Hall, the most senior member of the U.S. House of Representatives, recently was re-elected to his 17th term of office.
