The family of the woman who died in the freezer of the New Iberia Arby's this month is suing the company.

Police say 63-year-old Nguyet Le of Houston, the restaurant's acting manager, was found dead in the walk-in cooler on May 11. The Iberia Parish coroner says she died of hypothermia.

The family's attorney says Le was a manager at an Arby's in Houston who was in New Iberia on a temporary assignment.

The lawyer claims employees, management, and even corporate knew the latch on the cooler had been broken since August.
