An East Baton Rouge Parish grand jury is no-billing the ride-share driver who hit LSU student Madison Brooks and fatally injured her.
Brooks was standing in a dark stretch of Burbank Drive near Pelican Lakes Parkway early on January 15 when the driver's car hit her. She later died at a hospital.
The driver was charged with negligent homicide.
Deputies say he stayed at the scene of the accident and showed no signs of impairment.
Four men are charged with raping Brooks prior to dropping her off near where the accident happened.
