Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome is speaking out following an altercation between a officer with the Baton Rouge Police Department and a juvenile.
On Sunday, Mayor Broome issued a statement saying that she saw a clip of the video of the encounter and called it "concerning."
She continued saying that she spoke with BRPD Chief Murphy Paul about the situation and that they are reviewing the nature of the incident.
