Baton Rouge Mayor Supports Governor's Stay-At-Home Order

Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome is supporting Governor John Bel Edwards' stay-at-home order

Broome says the decision was necessary after citizens were not complying with the original directives to maintain social distancing.

The directive orders residents to stay indoors at all times except to go to work, buy food and groceries, attend doctor appointments and go for walks or jogs

Louisiana has over 800 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
