Woman Arrested After Punching Baton Rouge Firefighter

A woman is in custody after allegedly punching a Baton Rouge firefighter over the weekend.

Officials confirmed yesterday that 28-year-old Marissa Mays was arrested on Saturday after she became aggressive with EMTs and firefighters responding to an overdose call on Adams Street.

Witnesses identified Mays as the person who punched the firefighter in the back of the head.

Mays is currently being held at the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
