Police are investigating after an LSU student was hit and killed by an SUV on campus.
Authorities say Sarah James was hit Tuesday night while trying to cross the street in the 4400 block of Nicholson Drive.
The 19-year-old biological engineering sophomore died later at the hospital.
It's not believed the driver was impaired at the time of the crash.
