The Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office is investigating reports of a fight between at least one inmate and the guards at the Ascension Parish jail.
The alleged incident is said to have taken place on Wednesday. Sheriff's officials are refusing to provide any details until the investigation is complete.
It's not known if anyone is hurt.
