A man is dead after being shot while breaking into a Baton Rouge home. Police say the intruder entered the residence on Canyonland Drive around 3:30 yesterday morning. That's when the homeowner opened fire, leaving 26-year-old David Michael Paul Martin dead at the scene. Detectives are still investigating the circumstances that led to Martin's death.
