An April 10th sentencing date is set for 56-year-old Joleslie Looney of Baton Rouge, who was convicted Friday of manslaughter in the death of her elderly mother.

She's facing up to 40 years in prison, as will her 21-year-old daughter, Lauren Looney, should she also be convicted next month when she stands trial for manslaughter.

Authorities say 82-year-old Bessie Looney died in September 2014 after suffering a blood infection from untreated bed sores.
