A lot of needy families won't be worrying about what to eat on Thanksgiving thanks to local firefighters.
That's because an effort organized by members of the Baton Rouge Association of Minority Firefighters was carried out last night just as in the previous 24 years.
Firefighters delivered a turkey and the sides to each of 100 families that had previously been identified as needing assistance.
