Harvey's Impact Could Mean Higher Gas Prices

CA Gov. Jerry Brown Raises Gas Tax Ahead Of Revised State Budget Proposal

Experts are warning that gasoline prices could rise significantly given the platform closures in the Gulf and refinery damage associated with Tropical Storm Harvey.

Here in Baton Rouge, AAA says the average price of regular has shown little movement over the past week, rising slightly yesterday to $2.11 a gallon, right where it was a week earlier.

The pace of price increases at the pump is expected to pick up shortly and occur nationwide.
