Black Lives Matter Sued Over 2016 Police Shooting In Baton Rouge

GLAAD Gala San Francisco

Leaders of the Black Lives Matter movement are being sued.

The case stems from a deadly shooting in Baton Rouge last year that killed three police officers. A lawsuit filed in federal court Friday accuses DeRay McKesson (pictured) and four others of inciting violence that led to the attack.

Black Lives Matter leaders have repeatedly denied promoting violence against police.
