Construction officially begins today on a new Baton Rouge elementary school.
The East Baton Rouge Parish School Board hosted a groundbreaking this morning to commence building of the new Broadmoor Elementary School.
The replacement for the current facility on Bawell Street is expected to be finished by the fall of 2018 at a cost of $21 million.
