Community Holds Vigil For Sammy Lee

A 12-year-old boy struck and killed by a pickup truck during a police chase in Baton Rouge is being remembered by his community.

About 100 people turned out last night for a vigil to honor Sammy Lee, who was crossing Old Hammond Highway at Gloria Drive on Wednesday evening when he was hit.

Police say Joshual Hilton was driving the pickup after being shot during a drug sting and his bond has been set at over $300,000.

Funeral plans are still being made for Sammy.
